Cory and Candice met while swing dancing in Fountain Square. Although Candice had been going on and off for a few years, this was Cory’s first and last time going, thanks to his friends Zach and Eva. Cory was Candice’s last partner in the lessons before open dancing started. She went to a table and found Cory sitting with a drink in his hand looking bored. When looking back on this memory, Candice said “Usually I am too afraid to ask guys to dance but I heard my friend Keltsey’s voice in my head telling me ‘I need to step up and start asking people’, so I asked him if he wanted to come dance.”

When thinking about their love story, Jordan said he knew early on that Destinee was the one for him. They were dating and living together for about a year and when reflecting on that, Jordan said:

“I knew I wanted her for the rest of my life. I never have much confidence in myself, but she always makes sure that she believes in me and I know I can always do anything I want with her by my side.”

After Anne-Marie put on her dress, she had a very sweet first look with her mom then we got ready to take bridal party portraits. In the middle of our bridal party portraits, her dad walked into the room. He was supposed to have his own first look later in the day, but he arrived a little earlier than we expected. He very respectfully waited to come over and see his beautiful daughter on her wedding day, but we could see him standing to the side with the proudest smile on his face.

Mickiah and Brayden met in church when they were just kids and by the time of their wedding, they had known each other for over twelve years. After a period of long friendship, they began to experience stronger and more intimate feelings towards each other. When thinking about their love story, Mickiah said “I had a crush on Brayden since he first started coming to our church, but I never thought I would actually ever date him!”

Catelyn and Ben’s first date was at Pearl St. Pizzeria in mid December, but it was around Christmas time when Ben went home to North Carolina to visit his family when they really started talking. When reflecting on that early time in their relationship, Ben said “after a few days, I couldn't wait to get back to Indiana to go see Catelyn and spend time with her. I flew back into town, and I went to the store to get her some flowers and throughout the course of the day it started snowing and snowing and by the time she got off work we both decided that I should wait to the next day since it was pretty bad outside.”

They began spending a lot more time together and ended up going on a trip to Chicago in March. Catelyn recalled “that was the weekend that I think sealed the deal for both of us and knowing that he was the one for me.”

Nick and Shelby met through social media and have been inseparable ever since. They started dating in December of 2017 and just a few months later they found out that they were going to be having a baby girl in 2019. “I love knowing that Nick is always there supporting me and taking care of or family no matter what. To know that I have someone that will never give up on me is the biggest gift of all.”

Jocelyn and Evan’s wedding was on Halloween (her favorite holiday) and they had their guests dress up in costumes like a giant costume party. Their entire venue was decked out in amazing festive decor including skulls, pumpkins and wicked skeletons. Guests arrived in an array of costumes including a shark, scarecrow, vampires, a priest and nun, and tourists.

Jack and Trisha have the love story that most people dream of! Although they met in high school through a mutual friend in 2010, Trisha vividly remembers seeing Jack onstage with his Freshman choir in 2007 and thinking he was “so cute with his scene boy haircut” but she also thought he was out of her league. “I first noticed him and his absolutely obnoxious laugh in the hallways (he's still obnoxious and I tell him this often, with love), and I just naturally gravitated towards him. I started trying to exist in the same space as him to try and work up the courage to talk to him and drop some hints.”

They started attending the same concerts at The Gear in Franklin and bonded over their similar taste in music and movies. Then, on September 26, 2010, Jack took Trisha on a date to Anderson Orchard, which was “obviously the most romantic place in Mooresville” according to Jack, and asked her to be his girlfriend.

From festivals, to working together, to staying up all weekend listening to punk rock...the love only kept growing. And then the most magical of all moments happened: Jake and Korrin went to Florida. During their time in Florida, they met up with one of their closest friends. Korrin had never seen the ocean before so Jake and his friend made it a point that before the trip was over, Korrin would swim in the ocean.

Upon arriving at Madeira Beach, Korrin was overwhelmed with excitement. She was literally running around like a child from being so happy. Jake called Korrin out of the water in order to take a picture, because they wanted to remember the moment. As the picture was being taken, Jake turned to Korrin and said, "Before we take this picture, I have a question for you." Jake got down on one knee and asked Korrin the most beautiful question she has ever heard. In the background you could hear a crowd cheering and the waves splashing. Everything was perfect as Korrin said "yes!"

Aaron and Avree were high school sweethearts for nearly three years before they parted ways. They eventually found their way back together four years later. When recalling this moment, Avree said “we knew that it was meant to be and that we were going to get married.“

Aaron worked with Avree’s mom to pick out her ring and the two of them somehow managed to keep the upcoming engagement a secret for over a month! Then, one evening at sunset behind Avree’s parent’s house, Aaron asked Avree to marry him.

Bradlee and Courtney had known each other basically since they were kids and both started 4-H. Steffani (Bradlee’s sister) worked for Courtney’s parents when they were kids and would always tell them stories about her crazy younger brother who was right around Courtney’s age. Growing up in the same school system, county fair, doing FFA together, and showing against each other, these two had never imagined that they would end up where they are today.

Grant and Emma met during their time at Purdue University. They dated for nearly 4 years before their wedding. When recalling their love story, Emma said “It wasn't long into our relationship that I knew he was the one. It wasn't really one particular moment, but a combination of things.”

Grant proposed to Emma while they were vacationing in Italy on a boat ride down the Amalfi Coast. It was an amazing day for them to celebrate and enjoy their time together.
