Their Love Story

Jason and Anne-Marie met at their friend Dustin’s house and clicked instantly after a short conversation. Within a month, they started dating, after Anne-Marie made him wait a whole day for a response. 😉

What Anne-Marie loves most about Jason is that he is always there for her and most of the time he knows either what she is going to say or what she needs to hear. He just “gets” her and he knows how to cheer her up.

“He works hard to provide for me and Brayden and I look forward to when we get to spend time together, whether it’s a night out with friends or a night in with pizza and crime documentaries, we always find a way to enjoy each other’s company.”

Jason proposed on Christmas Day in 2020, but Anne-Marie had a feeling that the proposal would happen on that day due to him saying she was going to be mad about how much money he spent and a few hints that were dropped along the way. They had gone to a family Christmas celebration and he had a giant box for her to open, but she “kind of ruined it” because he wanted her to open it in the kitchen and she didn’t see the point in that since they had already been opening presents on the couch.

“ I made him give the present to me while I sat on the couch and opened a box in a box, in a box, in a box, in another box, then a bag and a smaller bag and finally a ring box!!! And I opened and it was empty! And for a split second I thought it was the worse prank ever and I look at him as he asked me to marry him with the ring in his hand and I squeaked out a ‘YES’ and we both teared up. So sweet! But I did get mad for about 2.5 seconds!”

Their Wedding Day

Anne-Marie and Jason’s wedding day was gorgeous! The weather was perfect, the venue was stunning and everyone was full of love and joy. They were able to incorporate some unique ideas into their wedding day like the “keys of love” theme. You see, Anne-Marie collects keys. She doesn’t throw any keys away, so incorporating this idea into their wedding day was a must. The officiant even mentioned it during the ceremony!

Their ceremony also featured a sand unity, but with a special twist. They brought Jason’s son, Brayden, into the ceremony to unite as one family. Brayden was so excited to be the ring bearer and to join in on the sand unity! After the ceremony, Brayden and Anne-Marie also shared a special candid moment where he looked at her new ring and she explained the significance behind it.

The newlyweds are taking a road trip to Gatlinburg for a relaxing honeymoon in a cabin. Anne-Marie said she’s “excited to relax and just enjoy each other’s company while we explore the scenery since neither of us have ever been to Gatlinburg.”

Our Favorite Memory

Anne-Marie and Jason’s day was full of so many heartfelt, unique and touching moments. Although we couldn’t choose just one memory as our favorite, it was actually pretty easy to pinpoint a couple of memories to highlight from their day!

After Anne-Marie put on her dress, she had a very sweet first look with her mom then we got ready to take bridal party portraits. In the middle of our bridal party portraits, her dad walked into the room. He was supposed to have his own first look later in the day, but he arrived a little earlier than we expected. He very respectfully waited to come over and see his beautiful daughter on her wedding day, but we could see him anxiously standing to the side with the proudest smile on his face.

Another special memory from this day was Jason and Anne-Marie’s first touch. They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, so they spent a moment together before by holding hands around a door. Both of them were full of emotion. This was definitely the sweetest first touch we had ever witnessed!
